SMC is a thermosetting resin, glass fibres, and filler that when combined, form an incredibly strong moulding medium. It is a high strength fibre reinforced sheet moulding composite. High, medium, and low voltage switchgear insulation walls are the principal applications for SMC Black Insulation Sheet. Insulating sheets must have good flame retardancy because these materials are frequently utilised in hot conditions and are prone to fire. One prominent drawback of polymer materials is that they are typically flammable or combustible. We add halogen-free flame retardant elements to our insulating sheets because it is obvious that their qualities prevent them from meeting the requirements of the majority of occasions. It can successfully stop, halt, or postpone the spread of fire when it comes under attack from an external fire source. Aluminum hydroxide is the flame retardant substance we select since it is chemically inert, non-toxic, and serves as a filler as well as a flame retardant.
